“The GPACCM team, in collaboration with WHO and St. Jude, recently visited the National Institute of Children’s Health (NICH) in Karachi.
The efforts at this large public sector hospital, operating under a public-private partnership with the Children’s Aid Association, are making a significant impact by supporting hundreds of children with cancer and their families in Sindh. The enthusiasm by all stakeholders here has resulted in a unit that provides high standard care under difficult conditions.
The provision of free of cost chemotherapy medicines under the GPACCM will go a long way towards further improvement in their care.”
