Anna Ugalde: Behind the Work, the People, and the Purpose

Anna Ugalde, Professor at Deakin University and Lead of the ECORRA Program, shared on LinkedIn:

“It is such an honour to be profiled in The Lancet this month.

The article gave an opportunity to reflect on the experiences, collaborations, and challenges that have shaped my work, and on people who have been part of that journey.

I am deeply thankful to the many colleagues and partners I’ve had the privilege to learn from and work alongside.

I have been fortunate to work with people with lived experience and with communities, whose perspectives and knowledge are so important in shaping research that I hope continues to be meaningful and relevant to the people it aims to serve.

Thank you to The Lancet Group and thank you to the Equitable Cancer Outcomes across Rural and Remote Australia (ECORRA) team and partners, I am grateful to be your colleague & collaborator.

I hope you enjoy the article, and to read more about the work we do, visit:”
