Andrea Seale: Welcoming New Leaders to Advance the Canadian Cancer Society’s Mission

Andrea Seale, Chief Executive Officer at Canadian Cancer Society, shared a post by Canadian Cancer Society on LinkedIn, adding:

“I’m excited to welcome three exceptional leaders to the Canadian Cancer Society’s executive leadership team! Dr Sarah Viehbeck, our new Chief Mission Officer; Dr Catalina Lopez-Correa, Executive Vice President, Research and Riaz J. Kara, Executive Vice President, Advocacy and Policy, all started this week.

Sarah, Catalina and Riaz each bring deep expertise, leadership experience and a commitment to improving the health of Canadians. Together, they will strengthen our capacity for positive impact, while bringing diverse perspectives and experiences from across Canada and around the world. Alongside our broader leadership team, they will help us think bigger, move faster and continue advancing work that will make a lasting difference for people and families across Canada.

The progress we want to make against cancer can’t happen in isolation. It takes talented people, trusted partnerships and a shared commitment to turning ambition into action. I look forward to what we’ll accomplish together as we continue leading the way toward a future without cancer!”
