“Once considered rare, Neuroendocrine Tumors now affect >8 per 100,000 in the U.S.—crossing the traditional ‘orphan disease’ threshold. Rising incidence reflects better detection, awareness and survivorship, but also demands more research funding, drug access and policy focus.
