“This September, I am joining the global movement led by Childhood Cancer International (CCI) and International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) to raise awareness of what childhood cancer means for children and their families.
Every year, an estimated 400,000 children develop cancer, according to the World Health Organization. Behind every diagnosis is a family whose life changes forever. I remain committed to working so that every child has access to timely diagnosis, quality treatment and the support they need – because every child deserves an equal chance to survive and thrive, no matter where they are born.”
