“We have just hosted our International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer ACLC25 pre-meeting workshop on implementing an effective screening programme for lung cancer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In collaboration with Lung Cancer Policy Network, ASPIRE for Lung Cancer and Asia Pacific Coalition against Lung Cancer, we had a quick overview on the status of lung cancer screening in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan, followed by very interactive discussions on how to (1) defining eligibility and recruitment into lung cancer screening, (2) optimising workforce capacity and (3) technical infrastructure to facilitate effective screening in our communities.
