Alberto Puccini: Celebrating Michela Bartolini’s Award-Winning Research at ASCO GI 2026

Alberto Puccini, Medical Oncologist at Humanitas Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Proud and grateful to see Michela Bartolini, one of my fellows at Humanitas University, present her work at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium 2026 today in San Francisco!

What an outstanding presentation!

Her study on early-onset versus late-onset dMMR/MSI-H colorectal cancer provides meaningful insights into tumor biology and immunotherapy outcomes, and I am especially pleased that this work was recognized with a Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation® GI Merit Award.

I would also like to acknowledge Dr. Heinz Josef Lenz for his outstanding mentorship and continued commitment to fostering the next generation of academic oncologists, first with me and now with Michela Bartolini!

Well done, Michela—this recognition is truly well deserved!”
