Dates: 26–27 November 2025

AICRIstart is the All-Island Cancer Research Institute (AICRI) flagship training programme, designed to develop the next generation of cancer researchers within AICRI’s all-island collaborative framework.

The 3rd AICRIstart Symposium, a two-day event showcasing cancer research and collaboration across the island of Ireland and features presentations from AICRIstart PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in immunotherapy, biomarker discovery and next-generation diagnostics.

Attendees will also hear from leading voices across healthcare, academia, industry and patient advocacy, charities and funders all exploring diverse career pathways.

Highlights include:

Keynote Address: Prof John Crown, Consultant Medical Oncologist, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin

Panel on Career Pathways featuring experts from St James Hospital, Roche Ireland, the Irish Cancer Society, Tangram Therapeutics, Research Ireland and UCD.
