“Alejandra Mendez, Vice President of CCI, is part of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital working group ‘Culture and Communication in Latin America’. As part of this initiative, she participated in the ‘Clinical-Patient Communication’ webinar, where she discussed the parents’ perspectives when talking about childhood cancer.

She provided a different and moving perspective on the needs of families with a child diagnosed with cancer, emphasizing how effective communication can make a significant difference in the treatment process and the quality of life of patients and their loved ones.”
