Nirmala Bhoo Pathy: Wishing everyone a Happy Labour’s Day!
Nirmala Bhoo Pathy shared on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday was a marathon at work! It kicked off bright and early with a call to our collaborators in Australia, then shifted gears to putting the final touches on PhD defence slides with my students.
We even squeezed in a lively Hari Raya party at the Faculty of Medicine Universiti Malaya before wrapping up with a student-led seminar on Cancer Epidemiology in Malaysia. You’d think I’d be wiped out by the end of it, but nope! .
Our trainees at Public Health at University of Malaya rocked it, keeping us all engaged with their awesome presentations and interactive dashboards well into late evening.
I absolutely adore working with these superstars. This year’s batch of public health physician trainees is shaping up to be a powerhouse—I have no doubt they’ll be trailblazers in our country!
To top it all off, I got stuck in massive Labour Day eve traffic and didn’t reach home until 8:30 PM—completely drained but still feeling incredibly optimistic about the amazing work and talent around me.
Wishing everyone a Happy Labour’s Day! Keep rocking but don’t miss out the fun.”
