ASCO’s Open Letter to Congress and the Administration To End Cancer Drug Shortages
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Did you know that recent shortages of generic chemotherapy drugs have been the most severe in decades, affecting over 500,000 Americans?
‘[This] is not a problem that will fix itself through the power of markets,’ shares ASCO member Dr. Jason Westin.
Our Open Letter to Congress and the Administration, calling for an end to cancer drug shortages, is just one way ASCO is committed to supporting oncology professionals’ access to all the tools available to conquer cancer.
