Shadha S. Al-Raisi: The Latest Cancer Incidence Report in Oman Has Been Released
Shadha S. Al-Raisi, Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Chronic Respiratory Diseases at the Ministry of Health Oman, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud of the National Cancer Registry team for releasing the latest Cancer Incidence Report in Oman.
The report recorded 2,318 new cancer cases, with breast, thyroid, and colorectal cancers leading the burden. This underlines the growing challenge of cancer and reminds us of the urgent need for prevention, early detection, and stronger strategies to reduce risk factors and support patients.
Grateful to the team for providing the data that drives action.”
