Here’s an overview of our 5 work packages, each led by top European institutions.
From identifying genetic risk factors (WP1) to ensuring data protection and ethics (WP5), GENIAL is a comprehensive, EU-funded effort to understand and combat alcohol-related liver cancer (ALD-HCC).
Together, we’re integrating genetics, AI, and environmental science to improve prevention and early detection.
