Pratiti Bandopadhayay: The Clinical Significance of FGFR-Alterations Across Pediatric Gliomas
Pratiti Bandopadhayay, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by April A. Apfelbaum et al. published in Nature Communications:
“Very excited to share our paper reporting the clinical significance of FGFR-alterations across pediatric gliomas.
We still have a lot of work to do until we get to our goal of having targeted inhibitors for children diagnosed with these gliomas, but are hoping that this work increases awareness around the need for drug development and access to drugs for children.
Congratulations to first authors April Apfelbaum and Eric Morin and to everyone across BandoLab and Ligon Lab and our collaborators who spearheaded this project and contributed. And a massive thank you to all of the foundations and patients and their families without whom this would have been impossible.”
