
UICC Highlights 20 Years of Aladina Foundation’s Support to Children with Cancer

“For 20 years, Aladina Foundation has supported over 20,000 children with cancer, and their families, through comprehensive programmes including emotional, psychological, training, and research, in 22 public hospitals across Spain.

Photo 2: A pioneering hospital-based exercise program helps children like Lucas regain strength, confidence, and hope.
Photo 3: Dog-assisted therapy, offered in 10 hospitals and in-home palliative care, fosters communication and relieves stress.
Photo 4: Therapeutic outings bring joy and normalcy to children like Teresa, Milisen, Vega, and Aday.
Photo 5: Led major renovations, like the €7.4M transformation at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, where the Fundación Aladina met Irene and her mom.
Photo 6: Projects like Casa Aladina, Europe’s first pediatric oncology day center, are changing lives.”
