“I was filled with joy after spending the evening with the multi-disciplinary “Alliance Against Lung Cancer” in São Paolo, Brazil, to be with thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, and radiation oncologists standing up to expand access to lung screening across the entire nation.
I am sad to have missed my friend Ricardo Sales dos Santos who is one of the biggest champions for screening in the country. I hope to be back again and next time not forget to bring white ribbons!”
