Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Forum 2025 – International Gynecologic Cancer Society
International Gynecologic Cancer Society shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Eliminate Cervical Cancer
These photos were taken during a powerful panel discussion at the recent 2025 Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Forum in Bali — a gathering of global leaders, advocates, and innovators working together to eliminate cervical cancer everywhere.Featured here are IGCS Members and mentors, Dr. Kathleen Schmeler, Dr. Ai Ling Tan, Dr. Ted Trimble, and Dr. Nanise Sikiti, the first trained gynecologic oncologist in Fiji and a proud IGCS Fellow. On the panel, Dr. Sikiti shared how her training through the IGCS Global Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship is transforming care in the Pacific Islands.
As countries strive to meet the WHO’s 90–70–90 targets and reduce cancer deaths by one-third by 2030, this Forum served as a key moment for collaboration, innovation, and renewed commitments.
Help us train more champions like Dr. Sikiti by donating to the IGCS World of Hope Development Fund — supporting specialists where they’re needed most.”
