Urgent Reforms to Tackle Antimicrobial Resistance in Cancer Care – Union for International Cancer Control
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A new UICC policy brief highlights urgent reforms to tackle antimicrobial resistance AMR in cancer care, with expert insights from medical oncologist Dr Yehoda Martei, Abramson Cancer Center Clinical Research, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, a UICC member organisation, and Dr Philip Mathew, Technical Officer (AMR), World Health Organization, underscoring deadly delays and systemic shortfalls.”
UICC published a policy brief calling for urgent reforms to combat antimicrobial resistance in cancer care. The brief includes expert input from Dr. Yehoda Martei of the University of Pennsylvania and Dr. Philip Mathew of WHO, highlighting critical delays and systemic issues affecting patient safety.
