“ESCALIER: a journey connecting specialists from the paediatric oncology field with patients.
During Gold September it is crucial to highlight the inequalities in childhood cancer between the East and the West, while also discussing solutions on how to tackle them!
SIOPE has reunited its efforts with Childhood Cancer International – Europe for ESCALIER, a 4 year project dedicated to connecting healthcare professionals and patients, while also tackling inequalities.
In order to ensure that each and every paediatric oncology unit provides the appropriate medical and psychosocial services and facilities for its patients, collaboration between cross disciplinary teams is crucial to exchange knowledge on standard operational procedures.
Clear step-by-step procedures are key for ensuring consistent and qualitative care!
