Erika Hamilton: I left ASCO25 with a full heart and an inspired mind
Erika Hamilton, Medical Oncologist and the Director of Breast Cancer Program at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I left ASCO25 with a full heart and an inspired mind.
Sarah Cannon Research Institute showed up in a big mission-driven way —we are transforming cancer care and personalizing treatment for those we serve. From clinical trial presentations and education sessions across gene therapy, blood cancers, lung cancer, melanoma, breast, phase I development, and more, the importance of community-based trials shined.
Presenting new data on vepdegestrant and emiltatug ledadotin reminded me just how far we’ve come in breast cancer research — but also how much further we still have to go — in designing smarter, safer, more personalized breast cancer therapies.
Thank you to the Sarah Cannon Research Institute team and the team at SCRI Oncology Partners, our peers, and the wider passionate community that came to our sessions, asked questions, and joined the conversation. Discover more about our presence at ASCO.”
