Emil Lou: AACR25 marked the Scientist Survivor Program’s 27th year
Emil Lou, Associate Professor at University of Minnesota, posted on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations and thank you to the American Association for Cancer Research and everyone associated with its Scientist Survivor Program. AACR25 marked the Program’s 27th year!!
Led by the fearless and visionary leadership of Dr. Anna Barker and Dr. Margaret Foti, this Program attracts ~25-30 patient advocates from around the world each year to the AACR Annual Meetings. Participating as a Scientist Mentor is definitely a highlight for me, and I always learn so much from our advocacy community.
Congratulations and thanks to all of this year’s participants, and here is the link for anyone interested in looking ahead to apply for next year’s iteration in San Diego at AACR26.”
