Victoria Wolodzko Smart, Senior Vice President of Mission for Susan G. Komen Center for Public Policy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”We’re thrilled to announce the theme of our annual Patient Navigation Summit – The Navigator in All of Us: The Many Faces of Navigation. Anyone interested in learning more about lifesaving navigation can join us on Thursday, September 11, 2025, for this free, virtual event.
We’ll explore how navigation takes shape across roles and settings – from community health workers (CHWs) and clinical teams to caregivers and advocates – and how each contributes to equitable, person-centered care. Anyone who has faced breast cancer knows that it takes a village to ensure that every aspect of care is understood, provided, paid for, and more, and many people serve in the role of navigator through that often difficult journey.
This Summit is part of the Susan G. Komen Navigation Nation training program, which aims to provide top-notch, transformational content via on-demand learning. While designed for patient navigation professionals, the content may be beneficial for patients, caregivers and other members of the care team, and all are welcome.”
