“Funding Opportunity for Early-Career Researchers:
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) is accepting Letters of Intent for the 2026 Research Fellowship Program. Since 2015, CCF has awarded $3.83+ million in seed funding to support innovative projects that advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).
Applications are welcome from investigators worldwide, including those new to the field.
Funding Highlights:
- Up to $75,000 for one year of grant support
- Basic, translational, or clinical science projects eligible
- Priority areas: early detection, radiomics, drug discovery, immunotherapy, correlative clinical trial studies, and real-world data research
- Travel support for presentation at the 2026 CCF Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah
Key Dates:
- Letters of Intent Open: September 15, 2025
- Deadline: October 10, 2025, 11:59 p.m. ET
- Award Period: June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027
