Anirban Maitra: Anatomy departments are stopping medical education with cadavers

Anirban Maitra, Scientific Director of the Sheikh Ahmed Pancreatic Cancer Research Center, shared a post on X:

“Anatomy departments are stopping medical education with cadavers. Many pathology departments have already stopped using microscopes.
At some point, we will take patients out of the equation and make all of medical school a 4-year “digital journey”.”
