Dean Crowe: $75 MILLION for kids, teens, and young adults fighting cancer
Dean Crowe, Founder & CEO Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Are you ready for some incredible news?
Here it is—$75 MILLION in funding for pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancers from the Department of Defense Medical Research Program! This funding will support 34 grants focused on improving outcomes for this population.
I’m so proud of Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research for our unwavering commitment to national advocacy—and for the pediatric and AYA cancer community for using their voices to help make this happen. Your voice matters!
While all these awards are subject to negotiations (which is completely normal), today, we celebrate this huge step forward. We know there’s still plenty of work ahead in advocacy and policy, but for now—let’s take a moment to appreciate this win.
$75 MILLION for kids, teens, and young adults fighting cancer. That’s worth celebrating!”
