“The European Parliament Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Diseases has been set in motion!
Looking towards 2025, the Intergroup aims to:
- Strengthen EU health policies;
- Address cancer and rare disease challenges;
- Ensure patient voices are heard.
The Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Diseases marks an important milestone in achieving political unity and ensuring that cancer and rare diseases remain a priority on the European political agenda.
The European Cancer Organisation is proud to support this initiative as a member of the Intergroup Secretariat, alongside EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe and SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE).
