Dégi László Csaba: Honored to speak at the AIPM Oncology Conference
Dégi László Csaba, President of the European Cancer Organisation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“European Panorama at the AIPM Oncology Conference.
It was an honor to speak at the AIPM Oncology Conference, where I was able to present the European Cancer Organisation ‘s comprehensive efforts in the fight against cancer.
As President, I am proud that ECO is making significant progress in key areas such as the expansion of HPV vaccines, the development of cancer screening, and the increasing adoption of the ‘right to be forgotten’ (RTBF).
In addition to the implementation of EU cancer strategies, our working groups are working on the following important projects:
- Strengthening and supporting cancer research
- Reducing inequalities in access to care
- Networking of national cancer centres into a European network
- Supporting the mental well-being of healthcare workers
The plans outlined in my presentation are particularly important because they are the way to achieve our goal: a Europe where all cancer patients have access to the highest quality of care, and where one day a cancer-free generation can grow up.
