The launch of the Access Cancer Treatment for Children initiative – Childhood Cancer International
Childhood Cancer International shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In a powerful global effort, Childhood Cancer International, International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP, IDA Foundation, Resonance, Servier, and World Child Cancer have launched the Access Cancer Treatment (ACT) for Children initiative.
This collaboration, working with the ATOM Coalition, is ensuring access to lifesaving childhood cancer medicines, quality care, and patient support in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
In just six months, ACT for Children has delivered $2.3 million worth of innovative pediatric oncology medicines to cancer centers in Asia and Central America, breaking financial barriers and bringing hope to children in need.
OncoDaily is amplifying this effort, raising awareness about the urgent inequities in childhood cancer care worldwide.
