The significant developments in the field of prevention at the 9th Annual ELLOK Conference
Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK) shared a post on LinkedIn:
” ‘Greece already has three major preventive programs for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer, with new programs for skin cancer and lung cancer to follow, targeting specific population groups.
However, the patient pathway in Greece’s healthcare system, from diagnosis to therapeutic approach and palliative care, remains somewhat unclear compared to other European countries, and this is something that needs improvement.”
At the 9th Annual ELLOK Conference, the Deputy Minister of Health, Marios Themistokleous, in his participation in the roundtable ‘Greece: The Country Cancer Profile (O.E.C.D)’ addressed the significant developments in the field of prevention and committed to collaborating with all involved stakeholders to improve oncology care in our country.”
