“Excited to announce my next chapter: This spring, I’m joining the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) as the inaugural Director of the Center for Cellular Therapies and Cancer Immunology.
The goal of the new center is to develop next-gen immunotherapies and deliver them to patients at UTSW. Looking forward to building innovative immunotherapy programs and advancing cancer research with the outstanding team at UTSW.

Dr. Jaehyuk Choi is the inaugural Director of the Center for Cellular Therapies and Cancer Immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW). He is also an Associate Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Investigation, and a Co-Founder of Moonlight Bio. As a physician-scientist specializing in skin cancer and immunology, Dr. Choi leverages advanced techniques to uncover the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving diseases in his patients, aiming to translate these insights into innovative therapies.
