“‘Love is Magic’ is the phrase Neal O’Brien shared with his parents before a doctor’s visit revealed that his brain tumor was shrinking. At the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation we couldn’t agree more with Neal’s wise words, as we take this opportunity to thank the foundation Love is Magic—created by Neal’s parents in his honor—for their invaluable support to the Richi House.
Diagnosed with a brain tumor just days after graduating from kindergarten, Neal faced a long and challenging battle, including surgery and radiation therapy. Despite these obstacles, it was his family’s unwavering love and support that illuminated the toughest moments of his journey.
Love is Magic embodies Neal’s spirit, providing essential support to families of children with life-threatening illnesses. Their generous donation to the Richi House is a tremendous help for the sessions we are organizing at the Richi House for our two cohorts of brain tumor survivors and their families, creating a supportive community where love and healing thrive.
