ACCC 41st National Oncology Conference: Realizing Innovation

The ACCC 41st National Oncology Conference took place from October 9-11, 2024, at the Hilton Minneapolis in Minnesota.

This annual event, organized by the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC), brought together a diverse group of oncology professionals, including oncologists, nurses, and administrators, to discuss the latest trends and advancements in cancer care.

The theme for this year’s conference was “Realizing Innovation,” focusing on providing education and resources that empowered participants to drive positive change within their cancer programs. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of the 2024 ACCC Innovator Award winners, network with peers, and explore practical solutions to shared challenges in the field.

Douglas Flora:

“Another incredible ACCC National Conference is in the books! It was inspiring to witness so many impactful discussions, especially the panel on delivering cancer care across the globe. Despite differences, we share common challenges—disparate access and workforce shortages—and have much to learn from one another’s successes as we work toward a more equitable care delivery system. Huge kudos to the organizers for curating such a thoughtful program.

Christian Downs, this is your legacy—your leadership has truly been inspiring and impactful. Save the dates for our next events: DC in the spring for the Business Meeting, and Denver for next year’s National Conference.”
