Foluke Sarimiye, Clinical Lecturer in Radiation/Clinical Oncology and a Psycho-Oncologist at the University of Ibadan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Children are gold.
Patela Care Foundation (PCF) consistently in the past years, in partnership with Paediatric Oncology Unit, University College Hospital, Ibadan has supported pediatric cancer patients and their family care givers in relieving some of the psychosocial and financial burden, cancer poses on families. In commemoration of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2024. Team PCF will be at the pediatric oncology wards, UCH cheering on ‘The Children-Champions’ and their families.
The relevance of honouring these special dates and the good impact it has on quality of life of the children and their families cannot be over emphasized.
I’m humbled and delighted to be part of this committed ‘Team PCF’.”
