Jasperine Ho: What can be done in a week

Jasperine Ho, Medical Director, CUHK Medical Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“This past week has been incredibly rewarding, beginning with the BMJ-IHI conference, where I showcased a poster focused on pioneering solutions through fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

I also had the opportunity to participate in the BMJ-IHI Senior Leadership session on “Sustaining Healthcare Improvement: Global Challenges and Local Issues.” The session was incredibly inspiring, featuring leaders from around the world who shared their insights and experiences.

Another significant achievement this week was successfully organizing our Sustainability Awareness Day. This event marked an important milestone in activating our sustainability policy and outlining our strategies and way forward to staff. The day featured discussions led by experts on topics like achieving net zero and advancing sustainability. The event was well-received, engaging more than 250 staff members and inspiring them to contribute to our sustainability efforts.

Finally, it was an honor to attend the inauguration ceremony at the stunning CUHK Shenzhen campus. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Dean for the invitation; it was truly my honor to participate in the White Coat and Stethoscope Award Ceremony. The day was made even more memorable by a delightful lunch with an old friend, the opportunity to forge new connections, and the privilege of taking a photo with Nobel Prize winner Prof. Arieh Warshel.”
