$1.5 million research grant for pediatric osteosarcoma to Dr. Patrick Grohar- Children’s Cancer Research Fund
Children’s Cancer Research Fund is proud to announce its collaboration with funding partners in awarding a new three-year, $1.5 million research grant for pediatric osteosarcoma to Dr. Patrick Grohar at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Grohar’s groundbreaking work focuses on developing an innovative targeted treatment approach for this aggressive form of bone cancer, with the goal of bringing it to clinical trial within three years.
The project’s funding is made possible through the Fight Osteosarcoma Together Super Grant, a collaborative funding initiative in partnership with St. Baldrick’s Foundation, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, Battle Osteosarcoma, Michael and April Egge, The Osteosarcoma Collaborative, and the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund of Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
