Elizabeth McKenna: Cancer Discovery is issuing a call for short commentaries that challenge existing paradigms or shed new light on arising issues or emerging topics in the field.
Quoting Elizabeth McKenna, Executive Editor of Cancer Discovery at the American Association for Cancer Research, on LinkedIn:
“Call for Commentaries!
The central mission of Cancer Discovery is to bring together a broad spectrum of cancer researchers and clinicians to catalyze a discussion of the most impactful and innovative science across all areas of cancer biology. As outlined in the editorial by Luis Diaz and Lew Cantley earlier this year, the journal wants to work with the community to amplify new ways of thinking to solve long-standing problems in the field, transform cancer therapies, and improve outcomes for all patients around the world.
To that end, the journal is issuing a call for short (2000-3000 word) commentaries that challenge existing paradigms or shed new light on arising issues or emerging topics in the field. Selected commentaries will be published in the April 2024 issue and showcased during the 2024 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting.
Email [email protected] with topic proposals by November 1st. Invited submissions will be due by January 2nd. We look forward to hearing from the cancer research community!”
