Navneet Singh: A couple of weeks ago I was honored with the Clifton Mountain Lectureship Award by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer at the World Conference on Lung Cancer in Singapore.
Navneet Singh, Thoracic Oncologist and Professor at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India, recently shared on LinkedIn:
“A couple of weeks ago I was honored with the Clifton Mountain Lectureship Award by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer at the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC23) in Singapore. It is a tribute to the entire multidisciplinary thoracic oncology group (including my department colleagues) of PGIMER, Chandigarh that we conceptualized almost 15 years ago and that I have had the pleasure of coordinating ever since. Despite resource constraints, the efforts (often significant) of A) accurate staging and B) getting biomarker testing for eligible patients are rewarding. These are done with the ultimate aim of A) achieving a cure with surgical resection and B) treatment with targeted therapy for those harboring oncogenic driver alterations EGFR, ALK, ROS1, LCSM.”
