María Teresa Campos: MDTs has been launched as part of the MDT Aid Program MAP
María Teresa Campos, Director, Global Digital Health Partnerships at AstraZeneca, shared on LinkedIn:
“Proud to announce that the whitepaper ‘Good Practices in Lung Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs)’ has been launched as part of the MDT Aid Program (MAP). This achievement marks the culmination of extensive MAP efforts across the US, Europe, Canada and China, providing hospitals with innovative tools and strategies to improve MDT-based lung cancer care.
MAP, developed by our Commercial Digital Health team, plus regional and in-country teams, aims to unify and elevate MDTs’ effectiveness in cancer care. Recognising the crucial role of MDTs, we’ve identified significant variability in their accessibility, operations, and technology. Our mission is to set a standard for best practices and support hospitals worldwide in optimising their MDT functions.
Congratulations to my AstraZeneca co-authors David Dellamonica, Heather Moses, Adrien Moucquot, S. Hassan N. and our Vintura partners. Special thanks to the esteemed co-authors and supporting healthcare institutions across countries. Your invaluable contributions are shaping the future of patient care through MAP.”
