Union for International Cancer Control shared on LinkedIn:
“To support breast cancer advocacy, Union for International Cancer Control has released new translations of the Breast Cancer Advocacy Handbook, with the assistance of UICC members. The handbook is now available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Brazilian Portuguese.
The handbook provides practical guidance for cancer organisations and advocates in diverse settings to engage governments and institutions in prioritising breast cancer within national health policies and funding agendas.
It aligns with and supports the implementation of the World Health Organization’s Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI), and complements UICC’s policy brief, Strengthening equitable access to breast cancer care through national health policies, released during last year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
