Lung Cancer Europe shared on LinkedIn:
“Three positive Phase 3 lung cancer trial results have been reported this week, across three different biomarker-defined groups.
HER2-mutant NSCLC:
- In DESTINY-Lung04, trastuzumab deruxtecan improved progression-free survival compared with first-line chemotherapy plus immunotherapy in people with advanced HER2-mutant NSCLC who had not previously received treatment.
EGFR-mutant NSCLC with MET-driven resistance:
- In SAFFRON, osimertinib plus savolitinib improved both progression-free survival and overall survival compared with chemotherapy in people whose cancer had progressed on osimertinib and had MET amplification.
EGFR-mutant NSCLC after EGFR-targeted treatment:
- In PANKU-Lung01, the EGFR × HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate izalontamab brengitecan improved progression-free survival compared with platinum chemotherapy after progression on EGFR-targeted treatment.
These are topline Phase 3 results, so the full data are still to come, including detailed efficacy and safety results.”
