Binay Shah, Co-Founder, President and CEO at Binaytara, shared on LinkedIn:
“Sunday mornings are best spent working toward something that matters.
Today, I had a productive operational meeting for the Binaytara Cancer Hospital project with Gamala Luitel, Dr. Nora Ku, and Dr. Biplav Yadav. We focused on our existing cervical cancer screening program in Janakpur, Nepal, and discussed strategies to expand its reach and make screening accessible to many more women.
Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet far too many women continue to be diagnosed at advanced stages because screening remains out of reach. As we build the Binaytara Cancer Hospital, we’re equally committed to strengthening community-based prevention programs that can save lives long before cancer treatment is needed.
Excited about the work ahead and grateful to be part of a team committed to improving cancer care in Nepal.”
