Tom Powles: Ivonescimab Shows Promising Activity in IMDC Good-Risk Renal Cell Carcinoma

Tom Powles, Head of Solid Tumor Research at Barts Cancer Institute, shared on X:

“Ivonescimab (VEGF/PD1 bispecific) shows response rates of 65% in IMDC good risk RCC.

Single agent VEGF TKI is probably close to this activity, but it’s higher than single agent PD1 It’s likely combinations will be needed to clearly improve on existing 1st line options.”
