“Pleased to share our latest work, published today in ESMO!
As HER-targeted ADCs continue to evolve, understanding HER1–HER4 co-expression may help inform future drug development and patient selection.
We found that HER receptors are rarely expressed in isolation:
- 96% of tumours expressed ≥2 HER receptors.
- 61% co-expressed all four.
These findings support the biological rationale for HER-targeted ADCs beyond HER2 (particularly emerging HER1/HER3 strategies).
Beyond expression patterns, we observed exploratory associations with platinum response.
- HER1 expression was associated with response rates
- HER3 and HER4 expression were associated with response rates.
- No association was found for HER2.
