Rohan Garje: The Updated ASCO Guidelines on Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
Rohan Garje, Associate Professor and Chief of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at Miami Cancer Institue, shared an article on LinkedIn:
“Honored to present the updated ASCO guidelines on metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) — a comprehensive resource that addresses critical aspects of treatment sequencing based on prior therapies, genomic testing, use of PARP inhibitors, chemotherapy, and radiopharmaceutical options.
This monumental effort would not have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of our outstanding expert panel members. Special thanks to Irbaz Riaz, Dr. Rahul Parikh, and Bryan Rumble. Your insights and commitment to evidence-based care have been invaluable.
Proud to represent Miami Cancer Institute / Baptist Health South Florida in advancing cancer care and contributing to the development of high-impact, patient-centered guidelines.
Stay tuned for more insights, and be sure to review the full guideline via ASCO.
From here on, the ASCO mCRPC guidelines will be “living guidelines” where in the guidelines will be updated as soon as new practice changing data emerges.”
