Miguel Gonzalez Velez: New Approval Expands Treatment Options for ROS1-Positive NSCLC

Miguel Gonzalez Velez, Medical Oncologist at John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, shared on X:

“Zidesamtinib approved for pretreated ROS1 NSCLC based on ARROS-1 by Alexander Drilon, Benjamin Besse and colleagues.

Take: ORR of ~44% between taletrectinib (55%), repotrectinib (38%) and lorlatinib (35%) but seems to have better toxicity profile (Cross-trial comparison) of less neurotoxicity. Questions remain with CNS disease, G2032R mutation, how to sequence and if possible to combine in the future?”
