Michael Dickinson: CAR T-Cell Therapy Referral Patterns and Utilization for Relapsed/Refractory LBCL in the US

Michael Dickinson, Hematologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, shared on X:

“CAR T-cell therapy referral and uptake in relapsed/refractory large B-cell lymphoma: US claims analysis (Komodo Health, Oct 2016 to May 2025), 8959 adults after 2 or more prior lines.

It’s just a reality about market penetration in the USA: 20% were referred to an authorized treatment center and 15% received CAR-T. Referred patients were younger (median 61.5 vs 67.3 years, p<0.001) and lived closer to a center (median 17 vs 24 miles, p<0.001).”
