Mazyar Shadman: Why Access Matters as Much as Innovation in CAR T-Cell Therapy

Mazyar Shadman, Medical Director of Cellular Immunotherapy at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“Excited to share our new publication in ASTCT journal TCT on ‘Barriers to referral and completion of CAR T-cell therapy.’

As the science of CAR T continues to advance, we have found improving access and delivery to be just as important as improving the therapy itself.

We can develop the best treatments in the world, but they are of little value if we cannot deliver them to the patients who need them.

Proud of this work and our continued efforts to make CAR T more accessible to our patients.”
