“In community oncology practices, the effectiveness of ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA-617 (Pluvicto) in patients with metastatic prostate cancer may be influenced by the number of treatment cycles patients can safely receive.
Using a large real-world dataset from IntegraConnect encompassing more than 1,000 patients treated with Pluvicto, we examined treatment completion patterns and their association with overall survival.
Only 28% of patients completed four or more treatment cycles, reflecting the challenges of delivering the recommended course of radioligand therapy in routine clinical practice.
Patients receiving more than four treatments had a lower hazard of death.
These findings highlight the importance of understanding treatment delivery, tolerability, and real-world outcomes as we seek to optimize radioligand therapy for patients with metastatic prostate cancer.
We present these observations at the ESMO 2026 Annual Congress in Madrid.”
