Dierickx Lawrence, Nuclear Oncology, Coordinator at Institut Universitaire Cancer Toulouse Oncopole, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A tremendous amount of work went into this international multicentre study, and I am very happy to have contributed to this important collaborative effort.
The study demonstrates a significant improvement in progression-free survival with 177Lu-edotreotide compared with everolimus in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours.
Congratulations to all the investigators, study teams, and patients who made these results possible. Special congratulations to Thomas Walter and Jaume Capdevila for their outstanding leadership and dedication in bringing this ambitious study to fruition.”
