Brian Gelblung, Breast Surgery Resident at Austral University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“New paper published in Breast Care!
In a cohort of over 1,100 patients with breast cancer treated at the Breast Unit at Hospital Universitario Austral, we found no significant differences at 5 years of follow-up in recurrence or survival between multifocal/multicentric and unifocal tumors – adding real-world evidence from South America to an ongoing debate.
Thanks to the entire Breast Unit team, without whom this work would not have been possible!”
